He considered this before leaning down and giving her a soft kiss on the neck. "I can talk to him, if you'd like."
She covered her face with her hands in embarrassment, though she was laughing slightly. "Gah... It's okay."
She peeked over her hands at him with a small laugh, tilting her head. "You don't have to apologize, Ben. It's not offensive or anything."
"Isn't it?" he replied skeptically, tilting his head before looking back down at the books. "I really gotta read up."
She laughed slightly, looking apologetic. "No.. But did you know that touching isn't really common at all for faeries? It's actually really interesting."
He laughed a little, squinting at her. "I'm not surprised. I'm sure Edgar would have preferred that."
She squeezed his shoulder gently, before looking back at the book. "Not only that, but sometimes in relationships the partner is trusted to clean wings," she read with interest, looking back at him with bright eyes. "I had no idea wings needed to be cleaned!"
She frowned, looking over at him. She leaned over and hugged him, kissing his cheek gently. "You're unique."
