He hurried down the hall before looking at her. “Do you want to go gather Puck or talk to the council?”
She looked hesitant, her brows furrowed. "You talk to the council. You'll probably be able to articulate it better. I'll go find Puck."
She leaned into his touch, giving his hand one last squeeze before turning to go. "I'll see you soon."
“Good luck with the boy,” he replied before looking over his shoulder, smirking a little. “No kissing.”
She frowned at him, but it didn't seem unkind. "Not funny." She went to look for Puck, her movements unsure.
She would know vaguely where Puck’s room was, but as she approached it, she would se him sitting outside the door, his shoulders hunched.
She seemed concerned in general, but there was worry for him as well. "We might have to leave soon. I had this.. this voice in my head. It was telling me the Ortus was in danger."
"No, not Ben. Like.. I didn't recognize it. It sounded whispery and metallic and like there was multiple people." She exhaled shakily, pressing her hands to her temples for a moment. "I don't know.. But I think we are leaving soon. I think it's a good idea to."
