She sighed, looking up at him. "I'm afraid, but I can't help that. Are you okay? I'm.. I'm sorry about everything, Puck. I know you trusted me to keep it a secret. But Ben doesn't deserve that. I don't want to have something like that a secret from him."
He laughed a little, looking at the ground. "I keep forgetting that it's him over me," he said quietly, shaking his head. "That's all."
He jerked his head back in surprise, his eyes wary and uncertain. "I just... I didn't want to go and be alone in my room," he said quietly, crossing his arms defensively.
Her brows furrowed slightly as she dropped her hand. "Sorry.. Well. Do you have your things together?"
"He's speaking to the council right now," she said, leaning against the wall with a small sigh. "I hope they're on our side."
He frowned before shaking his head a little. "They'll listen to him," he said bitterly. "He's one of them, after all."
