He laughed a little, sounding tired. “Edgar says he’s going to throw me all out. He says that I will have outlived my usefulness,” he said with a dry smile. “But I think I can convince him otherwise.
His breathing was steadying and he was quiet for a moment. "I'm going to fall asleep if we stay here for too much longer," he murmured.
"That's true," he said, a playful tone creeping into his sleepy voice. "Maybe you have that effect on people."
