I picked this game up once it became an F2P, and subscribed. MY only character right now is an Imperial Sniper. He's pretty boss.

SW:TOR went F2P? WHEN WAS THIS!?

I quit TOR back when I had played it for about 2 months after it came out. Amazing game... but not enough to keep you interested. Once I hit level 40, everything just got SO REPETETIVE!

EDIT: I was a Jedi Guardian... and now that it's F2P I might go back to playing it again .3.

It's not completly F2P, it still has some limitations to it such as certain planets you can't access.

It's not P2P, though? I was a past subscriber, so I'm on the list of people who have paid.

What I'm trying to say is that you don't need to pay monthly to play the game, some features are just locked behind a pay wall.

Honestly, this game is boring as hell... :sigh: After level 20 i started to realize just how repetitive it is. It's no different from other MMO's, but for TOR, it seems to get amazingly dull.

The thing is, in games like World of Warcraft, you currently have 11 classes and about 13 races if i'm not mistaken, and the difference is that in WoW, you can actually choose a direction in which to progress, whereas in TOR, you're forced to visit the same level-specific planet every time to level up. And with only 4 classes to choose from, it gets boring fast. Other MMO's are just more colorful if you get what i'm saying. TOR is far too limitted for an MMO.

The only good thing about TOR is that it's better than Galaxies...
