When you play RPG games, or games with RPG elements, what stat/attribute do you place the most points into? I put the most into speed and intelligence.
I used to go for more of a magic but then I realized that isn't for me. I am more for strength and close combat.
Speed and Attack, usually. If they're dead before they hit you... But it depends on the game. On final fantasy, you often get more than one character, and you can assign classes to 'em. In that case, it all depends on the classes I assign them to.
Depending on the game's combat style, I'll either go for highest damage possible, (for those real-time move around the field and actually dodge stuff games...) or I'll go for a more status-afflict-er sort of thing. Like the incredible INT magic users in Disgaea. :3
I've always gone Charisma, sometimes with magic, sometimes with agility, and once I went completely crazy and just did Intelligence taking the Expert Class in D20 and just knew a lot about stuff hehe. In Vampire all my chars had good seduction skills regardless of clan or how they intended to fight
Dungeons and dragons. Have a sorcerer. Most usefull skill: CHARSIMA. It's said, now you guys add some CHARISMA. And boost your diplomatic skills and troll your DM in changing his plans for the game- or simply fool everyone witH your speeches and spells to get everything you want. That's how you get OP, dodge battles, and get immensely rich.
It really depends on the system in question. In a Fallout SPECIAL-like system, I usually prioritize perception, luck, and agility. If the system is something more simplistic or common, I prefer dexterity, constitution, and charisma. Unless we're going with 3.5 D&D, in which case, I have a certain soft side for intelligence which came after my DM had let me pull of lightningberg (That is to say, iceberg with a meta-magic type change into shock damage).
This video pretty much sums up my playing style in most RPGs
In skyrim, illusion, archery, sneak and destruction. A few points in alchemy, speech and restoration helps too. Get the silent casting, silent roll, and max archery. Get restauration adept, max speech if you have nothing to do and use your illusion master spells. That's how it works. With the modded race Lunari, you're almost invincible. And conjuring a bow is the best if you don't make and improve your bows. Best enchantment is magic damage; at it's higher level, it adds 60 points of damage for almost no soul use of your weapon. That's how i roll! Envoyé de mon XT886 en utilisant Tapatalk
Just depends on what type I'm playing. I'm usually one to play either a meat-headed warrior type (strength, vitality and constitution) or a roguish type (speed, dexterity and intelligence).
In Fallout -Speech -Guns -Medicine or Repair (Depends on Play-through) -Melee But in any other RPG, Swords
Depends on the game and if it's a traditional pen & paper or video game. My usual go to type is a bus- lotsa strength and very durable, but very slow. Though for D&D I've played a Barbarian, a Ninja, a Rogue, a Dragonrider, a Wizard, a Druid, a Witch, a Paladin, a Monk, and a Bloodrager. Wizards are really fun, but there's so much bookkeeping for them for P&P.
