They stood in warm silence for a moment as she mused, her eyes thoughtful. "Do you ever think about the future? Not, like, this year or the next couple months, but when we're old and grey and wrinkly?"
"I don't know," she said slowly, shaking her head. "I mean, I know I will never become wrinkly and old, but you will someday. It'll be weird."
She laughed again, but it was loving. "No, baby," she said affectionately, kissing his temple. "You're perfect."
