He nodded, stepping out with a sigh.
She did the same before coming around and taking his hand almost hesitantly. “Are you... excited?”
He cocked his head. "I am excited to see some fish."
“God, you’re cute.”
"I like fish."
“Yeah, baby, I know. Do you have a favorite type?”
He pursed his lips thoughtfully. "Manta ray."
She laughed, kissing the back of his hand as they entered. "Really?"
"Yeah. They're cool. Or sturgeon."
She beamed at him, obvious affection in her eyes. "My baby loves manta rays."
He flushed lightly. "Ah.."
"He loves manta rays and he's kind and smart and handsome..."
His blush deepened. "Poppy.."
She laughed lightly, reaching up to kiss just under his jaw. "The love of my life."
He placed an arm around her. "Soulmates?"
"Hm," she murmured, resting her head on his chest. "I'll consider it."
He kissed the top of her head. "You're the love of my life, too.'
She chuckled, rubbing his back lightly. "C'mon. Let's go look at some manta rays."
He nodded slowly. "And birds?"
"That too. The birds."
