He leaned forward to kiss her, his touch gentle.
She kissed him back eagerly, her hand brushing his face.
He chuckled lowly against her lips, his touch warm.
“Hm,” he would hear her murmur. “B.”
He frowned. "How do I get an A?"
"Overachiever, huh?" she teased, pulling away slightly.
"Yep. So how do I get an A?"
"That's a secret."
"That's not fair. I won't stand for it."
"So... you'll sit for it?"
"I will not do either!"
"Well, you're just going to have to."
"That's not fair at all."
"Trial and error, my love. Trial and error."
He pursed his lips. "That's not helpful."
"You'll figure it out, I'm sure."
"Not soon, I bet."
"That depends if you're good at your job."
"Well.. Can I at least have a hint? Anything?"
She smirked, but said nothing, kissing him lightly before turning to look back at the manta rays.
