"Of course, Craw," she said, looking confused. "I mean, you're my person. Of course I would have loved you."
She hesitated before holding his face in her hands. "Really, Craw," she said quietly. "Nothing would stop me from loving you. Okay?"
She rubbed his back, wrapping her arms around his neck. "I love you. It'll be okay," she murmured, kissing his hair.
She pulled away slowly, straightening his collar and kissing his forehead before returning to the locks on his wheels.
She closed the door behind him and considered their house, her hands on her hips. "Okay. I'm going to make some calls," she said decisively, running a hand through his hair distractedly, the black locks slipping through her fingers.
After about ten minutes, she came back in, her hair slightly disheveled. She tilted her head before coming over and sitting next to him, wrapping her arms around his torso.
