He smiled, tilting his head slightly. "I love you too."
She sighed, looking down at her dress. "I'm going to go change out of this. It's uncomfortable."
He nodded. "I'll change too."
She raised an eyebrow, but said nothing, heading towards the stairs.
He followed, his head cocked.
She got to the bathroom and turned to look at him. "You going first?"
He shrugged. "You can go."
She sighed, tugging on his tie and pulling him forward in a kiss.
He smiled. "Love you."
"I love you too," she murmured. "You look really handsome."
He smiled warmly. "And you look stunning."
"Oh, this old thing?"
He rolled his eyes. "Oh, hush."
"I just pulled it from the back of my closet."
"Mm. I'm sure. What else do you have?"
"The dress I'm going to die in."
"What does it look like?"
"It's just ordinary clothing."
"pants and a shirt?"
"You know me too well. This could be my last night alive."
