"You will. You said you trusted me."
"I do. Therefore I'll wait."
She beamed, glancing over at him. "Much obliged."
He nodded, resting his head on her shoulder.
She kissed his head but kept her eyes on the road. “Sleep if you can.”
"Alright." He yawned. "Thanks."
“Mm. I love you, Craw.”
He kissed her cheek. "I love you, too."
She took one hand off the wheel to run her fingers through his hair. “Sleep.”
He nodded and closed his eyes, his touch warm.

She woke him up in the car with a small kiss on his forehead. “Come on, baby. Time to go.”
He blinked, sitting up slowly. "Where are we?"
“Airport,” she said brightly, running a hand through his hair.
He nodded, stepping out. "Alright. I'll get the things."
“No, it’s okay,” she protested. “Let me.”
"It's fine," he said. "Don't worry."
“Please? I don’t want you to.”
