She laughed out loud. "Oh, really?"
"Yes. Just like I said."
She rolled her eyes. "Right. I'm sure."
"Uh huh. You'll see."
She smirked, taking his hand. "Come on."
He squinted at her, but followed.
They approached the theater and she pursed her lips. "If the comedy act is bad, permission to boo?"
"Permission granted, but do it quietly."
"Where's the fun in that?"
"Still there. Just less."
"I don't really need to ask for your permission."
"I know, but you did."
"That was really just more of a formality."
"And I replied. Do what you will, now."
"I'm gonna boo."
"Only if it's bad."
"No. At this point, you've made it too tempting."
"But it's rude.."
"We're on vacation, remember?"
"Yeah, but still."
