She laughed breathily, privately appreciating the fact that his kisses still made her heartbeat rise. He would see a small flush race across the bridge of her nose, but she tried to play it off, rolling her eyes. "You can't do that to me," she replied, shifting under him to find a more comfortable position. "I'd rather be constantly distracted than unable to look at you."
He chuckled lowly, moving so his fingertip would lightly tap the tip of her nose. "I suppose that's fine.. I'm going to bring my attention to the fact that you're blushing, and tried to ignore it." He leaned down to kiss her. "It's a shame that I noticed."
Her heartbeat increased and her flush grew, spreading across his cheek and she weakened in his arms, her hand sliding down to curl against his chest as he kissed her. "I... yes. I suppose that is a shame," she said, clearly flustered after he pulled away.
He laughed warmly, taking her hand and kissing her forehead. "Aw.. I was just teasing. I think it's cute."
Her hand that was curled against his chest covered her face embarrassedly, hiding the blush that was rapidly spreading across her cheeks. "Gah! Stop it, Craw. This is just cruel," she said playfully, her voice muffled by her hand.
He gently went to move her hand, a wide smile on his face that showed perfectly straight teeth. "Aw, Poppy. There's no need to be embarrassed."
She looked up at him almost worshipfully, the pink on her cheeks making her eyes look sharper, more clear. "God, you're cute," she muttered, pulling on his shirt to bring him down to her and kissing him deeply, her hand brushing through his hair.
She glared at him, her fingers curling in his shirt. "Pretty embarrassed. You have, like, perfect teeth. Did you know that?"
She laughed out loud, her brows raising in delight. Her thumb brushed his bottom lip slowly. "Really? So did I!"
"I still need to see those baby pictures of you," she mused thoughtfully, her knees brushing his hipbones. "We're married now. You can't have any secrets from me."
"Oh, don't we?" she teased, wrapping her legs around his waist. "I think it's important. Mutual trust and all that."
"That's all I ask, my darling," she said, sitting up on her arms to kiss him again. "I'm a low-maintenance girl."
