"No," she agreed with a small nod. "I don't either. But, you know, I think it's something we have to think about. Not you and I specifically, but people in general."
She laughed, standing on her tiptoes and kissing his cheek. "You realize you're doing the equivalent of holding your hands over your ears and singing, right?"
"It's important, Francis. What if we have kids someday and we die and leave them nothing because we didn't want to think about it?"
“I don’t know. Humans don’t recognize how overarching death is, I think. We live our lives and ignore this big thing for a majority of it.”
