She rubbed his back slowly.

"I won't divorce you over a speedo. Don't worry."

 

He would feel her relax in his arms and she rested her head on his chest, listening to his heart.

She was quiet, her fingers curled in his shirt.

"What's your cologne called, Craw?"

 

"I love it," she said quietly. "Did I tell you... I mean, it's kind of stupid, but did I tell you that I was in the lab the other day, and someone walked past with your cologne, and I was so foolish, but I looked up so suddenly, and I... I don't know. My heart just sank when it wasn't you."

 

She laughed, kissing his sternum lightly.

"I'd love that."

“I would. Very much.”

 

“Oh, you don’t have to,” she said, looking up at him. “You’re really busy.”
