She tilted her head, reaching for his hand.

"Come with me."

 

She grinned and pulled him into the water, squeezing his hand.

 

"That's what's fun about it!" she exclaimed, the water up to her thighs now. "C'mon!"

 

She hesitated for a moment before turning to him.

"Hey, Francis?"

 

She chuckled, stepping forward and resting her hands on his chest.

"You know I love you, right?"

 

“Francis,” she said, looking offended. “I would never do that.”

 

She gave him a sly grin before leaping up, wrapping her arms and legs around him.

 

She kissed his cheek, holding his jaw in her hands.

“You were supposed to fall.”

 

“That’s no fun,” she teased, resting her forehead on his.

 

She yelped, reaching out to grab him but failing, disappearing under the water. Under the water, he would see her squirm around by his feet before going still.
