A moment passed before he would feel a slight tug on his swim trunks.
He gasped, grabbing the top to keep them up.
The tugging grew more insistent, Poppy’s auburn hair swirling under the water.
He pulled away frantically.
There was a moment before Poppy leaped from the water, tackling him.
He gasped, falling backwards.
They fell into the water and he would feel a quick kiss on his cheek before she swam away from him.
He went after her, reaching for her leg.
He caught her ankle and she turned back, kicking at him playfully.
He pulled her back to him.
She turned as he pulled her, one eyebrow raised expectantly.
He gave her a kiss, a small smirk on his face.
They surfaced and she laughed, her hair dripping with water. "Jerk."
"Me?!"
“Yes, you. You grabbed my leg.”
"You tried to pull down my pants."
"I didn't think it would actually work."
"But you tried."
"I would never have pulled them down. I plan on doing that later."
He blinked. "What?"
