She blinked, raising one eyebrow and resting her head on the pillow.

She gave him a small smile, leaning into his touch.

"Of course, Craw."

Poppy was fast asleep the next morning, her head on his chest.

 

She murmured, shifting slightly in her sleep, burying her face in his skin.

 

She muttered in her sleep, her brow furrowing. Her eyes fluttered open slowly, and she blinked sleepily.

 

She hesitated before smiling lightly, kissing his cheek and settling back down against his chest.

 

He would feel Poppy tracing circles on his chest slowly and she looked up.

"Craw? You awake?"

 

She tipped her head back to look at him, her eyes clear.

"Good morning."

 

Her hand came up to rest on his jaw instinctively.

"Mm. You?"
