She frowned, getting out after him and stumbling slightly her legs not as strong as she would have liked. She frowned, but opened the back door, removing Diana from the car seat. "I don't like resting."
Her smile turned adoring and she reached out a free hand, resting it lightly on his jaw. "My favorite," she murmured for a moment before pulling away and unlocking the door.
She held Diana carefully as Tom padded forward, freezing when he saw the figure in Poppy's arms. A low growl escaped his throat.
"Sparrow, Tom," Poppy said wearily, kneeling down. Tom came over and sniffed Diana's head hesitantly before licking her forehead.
"You'd think I was smelly or something," she muttered under her breath, heading for the shower. Diana squirmed, gurgling slightly.
