"Yup. It was all over the counter. She has had her bath already."

 

She looked over at him, coming and sitting next to him.

"Well, I did get a video. But, if it's any consolation, I only get home an hour and a half before you do. I just have her with me all day."

 

She gave him a small smile, leaning over and kissing his cheek.

"If you want, you could take her to work with you tomorrow."

 

"Of course. She adores you. I know she'd love to spend the day with you. Is that okay, though?"

 

She grinned, standing up excitedly, kissing his cheek.

"I'm going to go get her bag ready. She'll be so happy."

 

She beamed, obviously excited, before she left the room.

 

Diana was delighted with her peas, sticking her hand in it and squealing.

"Pea..."

 

She chewed on her hand, grinning at him with bright eyes.

"Pea. Deba."

 

She returned to her food as Poppy reentered the room.

 

Poppy gave him a small grin.

“For sure. She can be kept busy.”
