He stepped forward, reaching for her.
He blinked in surprise, studying Diana carefully. "She's yours? I hope you don't mind me saying so, sir, but you don't seem like the person to bring their child to work with them."
An expression of understanding crossed his face and he nodded sagely. "Giving the ol' wife a day off, huh? I understand, I understand."
