She patted his face, grunting slightly as she shifted in his arms.

 

"Cwaw," she murmured quietly, dimpling.

 

She dimpled, patting his cheekbones.

"Cwaw!"

 

She laughed deeply, resting her curly head in the curve of his neck.

"Cwaw."

 

She said nothing after that, fitting in his arms comfortably as Poppy began to clear the plates.

 

She blinked in surprise, glancing over at him. Her expression softened and she dimpled, kissing his cheek as she passed.

"Of course."

 

Her fingers brushed his back as she passed, and she headed over to the sink, turning on the water and beginning to rinse the dishes.

 

"You're holding a baby."

 

"It's alright, Craw. Really. You just sit down."

 

"Don't 'hmm' at me. I'm your wife, not an employee."
