"Alright. It's been noted," he said, looking back down. After a moment he held up the paper. "Alright. It's all done. The only problem now, is that I have no idea who to give this to."
"I think there's an office in the main lobby," Poppy said thoughtfully, drumming her fingers on the table. "We can go check it out, if you'd like."
"Well, a day in a cell and your sprained wrist says we're worth it," she said cockily, kissing his cheek quickly.
He smiled at her, taking her hand and walking. "Obviously. They can't just deny someone who has been through a traumatic experience."
" I can also fake cry if need be," she said cheekily, grinning up at him. "I've heard that it's very effective."
"If you do, then not in front of me. I'll probably end up feeling bad, or something. Fake crying is just like real crying without the meaning, but it still gets to me."
"Fine, but you should only use that power when you need to." He looked at her, head tilted. "It could be deemed too effective."
"With great power comes great responsibility and all that," she said, chuckling as they entered the main lobby. (I'm really curious to see how Vivienne reacts when she sees them together.)
(Salty™ It will happen eventually) Francis looked around, spotting the office and walking over. He set the note on the desk, his fingers tapping habitually.
He nodded, glancing at the paper. "Yes. We have a note requesting a leave of absence that we would like to be sent to whoever is in charge and approved."
The secretary reached for it, and lightly tapped the Bluetooth phone is his ear. "Great," he said with a quick smile. "You should get a response by tonight."
He shrugged. "I'm not sure. On any normal day at my home I'd probably watch a movie or go to a cafe, but we aren't there. What do you want to do?"
