She smirked, kissing his jaw.

“Good choice.”

 

“Now, I’ll do anything! That’s good, right?”

 

She laughed slightly, kissing him lightly and placing Diana on his chest before standing up and going to get a first aid kit.

 

She returned a few minutes later and sat on the edge of the couch, opening the tin box in her lap.

 

She brought it into her lap and rolled up his sleeve, gently pulling away the bandages.

 

She cleaned it quickly, her fingers precise as she worked. Every once in a while, her hand would come out and she’d brush his hair back or her thumb would rub his jawline, but she remained focused.

 

She finished her work, glancing down at him.

“There. Perfect.”

 

She beamed before leaning down, resting her head on his chest.

 

She leaned bac , stretching out.

“What should we do for Diana’s birthday?”

 

“She likes chocolate, we know.”
