“Do you?” she asked, her curly hair tickling his skin. “My serious man.”
"That's an interesting name."
“My lovely husband.”
"Better," he teased, tucking her hair behind her ear.
“My beloved.”
"My love."
She flushed deeply, her hand resting on his jaw. “My favorite.”
He chuckled. "You're cute."
She cleared her throat embarrassedly, looking down at the couch.
He kissed her hair. "I love you."
“I love you too,” she murmured quietly.
He sighed, pulling away. "I'm gonna go shower."
She sighed, pulling Diana to her chest. “Fine. Keep the bandage dry.”
He nodded slowly. "I'll try."
She nodded, returning to sleep.
He went to take a shower.
