She laughed quietly on the other end. “No, you should. Finn is doing great.”
He sighed. "Have we thought of any names?"
“That’s what I was calling to ask about, actually.”
"I know. Are there any ideas?"
“Well,” she said tentatively, “what do you think of James?”
"James? I like James."
“It’s Phos’ real name. I don’t know, he’s nust been helping out so much...”
"I like James."
“Yeah? We could call him something else for short.”
"James is good, though. What nickname were you thinking?"
“Well, let’s think... Jim is generally short for James...”
"Let's just keep it with James."
“Okay. James.”
"James.."
“Oh, Diana wants to talk to you.”
He grinned. "Put her on."
There was a fair amount of babbling before Diana spoke loudly through the phone. “Papa?”
He grinned. "Hey, Princess."
She cooed, laughing slightly. “Home soon?” she asked hopefully.
"I think so," he said warmly. "Not much longer."
