She blinked before wrapping her arms around his neck, burying her face in his shoulder.
He sighed, holding her as well. "I can stay, I think. I can stay."
Her voice cracked. “Really?”
He nodded. "Yeah.. I think so."
She pulled him closer, kissing his neck. “I missed you so much.”
He laughed slightly. "I missed you too. It doesn't feel real."
She seemed in disbelief, peppering him with kisses. “You’re here. You’re actually here.”
He laughed warmly. "I love you."
Her lips found his, and she cupped his jaw in her hands. “You’re here? Permanently?”
He nodded. "I think so."
She grinned at him. "The babies are going to be so happy."
"I know. Diana seemed sad I wouldn't be home for bedtime."
"Yeah," she said quietly, pulling away from him. "She was."
"But we don't have to worry about that now."
She dimpled, considering him with a smile. "No, you're right. How did this happen?"
"I don't know. Something about memory erasing?'
She raised an eyebrow, her eyes interested. "Really? That sounds ominous."
"I didn't pay much attention."
"I'm intrigued, but I'll have to look into it another time. Preferably when I'm not in my pajamas."
"Do you want to sleep now?"
