She came down about 15 minutes later, freshly showered and dressed. She frowned at him at the sink.

“Francis Craw.”

 

“You know you’re not supposed to be cleaning.”

 

“Yes, you do.”

 

"Francis, I will kill you."

 

"You're... already dead?"

 

"Ugh. Come here."

 

She draped her arms over his shoulders, her hands cupping the back of his neck.

"I'm furious at you."

 

She laughed lightly, finding his lips.

"I love you."

 

"Yes. I just need to put them in the carrier and stroller."

 

She leaned into his touch hungrily, but shook her head.

“Don’t worry.”
