He sat up, brushing his hair back before going to pull on clothes.

Poppy was in the kitchen, holding James and humming under her breath. Diana was in her booster seat.
Francis joined them, sitting down."
She came over, slipping an omelet onto his plate.
He grinned. "Thanks."
"Sure," she said warmly, sneaking a quick kiss before returning to the stove.
He grinned, shaking his head slightly.
She returned with a bowl of porridge a few moments later for Diana.
He was quiet, eating his food.
She glanced at him. "Do you have work today?"
"Yeah. Not until later."
"So I get to keep you for longer?" she teased, coming over to wrap her arms around his neck.
He turned, laughing slightly. "Yep."
She kissed just under his jaw before pulling away. "I'm glad."
"Do you have work?"
“I do,” she said with a small sigh. “I’m sorry.”
"It's okay. I'll be able to see you tonight."
“That’s true,” she said slowly, her fingers grazing his earlobe.
