Francis sat down, tapping James' nose.
James cooed, reaching up for him, his grey eyes warm.
He kissed his forehead.
He gurgled, glancing at Poppy as she left the room.
Francis frowned, watching her go.
James grunted slightly as he put his entire hand in his mouth.
Francis blinked, smiling slightly.
He laughed out loud, squirming joyfully.
"You're a happy baby, huh?"
“Perg,” he replied, tapping Francis’ cheekbone.
"Perg?"
He burst into bright laughter.
"I see.. Perg?"
This seemed to make him laugh harder.
"Peeerrrrg!"
He laughed deeply, reaching for Francis' face.
He tapped his nose.
“Bleeg.”
"Bleeg!"
He laughed brightly, clearly having the best time in his life.
