“We could each take a kid tomorrow and do the opposite people’s lunches?”
"That works."
“And we’ll switch at lunch.”
"Like a surprise?"
“Exactly.”
"Good idea."
“Thank you. I thought so.”
He chuckled, shaking his head.
"We can switch kids when we get to the park so we get both of them for half a day."
"Genius."
She accepted the praise with a bow of her head. "What do they do at work anyway?"
"Nothing, really. Lots of computers and meetings."
“Do the kids enjoy it?”
"It's easy to distract them."
"With bribes?"
"Yeah, kinda."
"Please don't bribe our children."
"Well, no. Finding things for them to play with."
"You bribe them with money, don't you?"
