Poppy's eyes widened, obviously a little shocked. She went quiet for a moment, her head tilted slightly as it did when she was thinking quickly, but when she spoke again, she changed the subject. "Well, anyway, I suppose if I can't see a picture of your youth, you won't get to see any pictures of me. And there's a lot of potential for mocking, there."
It took a moment for him to realize what he said, then mentally panicked. What is wrong with me? That was so cheesy and stupid. "Ha. W-well, I'm not the one threatening the relationship for the pictures, but I'm sure your family will be happy to show me pictures of your childhood. That's how family's are, right?"
She noticed his nervousness but said nothing. Instead, she smiled slightly, raising one eyebrow. "My family is loyal to me, Francis," she said. "They're on my side in this argument."
He frowned. "Whatever. I'm sure I'll get to see them one day or another." (Jeez, that post in Pirates made me speechless. I gotta reply to that one using the computer.)
(Ha. I've had the idea for months. Like, way back when they first met Rhys. If you read back, you might find some references to the whole situation.) She smirked, raising an eyebrow. "Keep dreaming, Craw."
(Time to investigate!) "Oh, I will. I know I'll get to see them one day. I might even let you see just one photo of me. Only one, though." (Also, the only thing I've ever planned like that was when my friends asked me to roast them. I've slowly been gathering enough information to just obliterate them. Just a fun fact.)
"It might take awhile. I don't trust just anyone with my childhood pictures." He raised an eyebrow. "You might use them against me."
"Me? I would never!" she said, placing her hand over her heart. "Francis, I love you. You can trust me."
He nodded. "The test. It's an experiment to see if I should allow myself to show the any photos. But, I also can't tell you what you need to do to pass the test."
"Hmm. What you can do in the meantime is wait. Don't worry. It will happen eventually," he said, obviously making it up as went. (So, I'm a huge musical nerd, and I want to make an animatic eventually. I wanted to share what song I was actually planning on doing, because I can't keep anything to myself, haha.) Spoiler: Words Fail Especially from 3:02 to 5:52 is what I wanted to do. Honestly, I have no idea why I am sharing this. I guess I just like to hear your opinions haha.
(Oh my God. Stuffs. That's beautiful. Can you give me hints about what the animatic is about? Is it Francis?) She squinted at him. "I think you're full of it," she said eventually.
(I'm thinking it should be about him, because it makes a bit of sense. It probably also gives some insight onto how he felt about Vivienne and how he felt/maybe feels about himself. I still have yet to storyboard and stuff though.) "Psshh. Of course I'm not. I'm telling you the complete and honest truth. I don't know how you can't see it," he said, shrugging.
(So. Excited.) "You're making this up as you go along, aren't you?" she asked wryly, raising an eyebrow.
(Woo!) "Whaaat? Definitely not. I can't believe you would even say that." He shook his head in disbelief.
She watched him for a moment, a small smile spreading across her face. "I love you," she said eventually, her voice quiet.
