He murmured, turning slightly but not waking.
She stood up and went to the kitchen to wash her face and make breakfast.
He woke a few minutes later, sitting up.
Poppy had left him, but light humming could be heard from the kitchen.
He stretched, standing up and heading into the kitchen.
Poppy was cooking eggs, her back to him as she hummed lightly.
He leaned against the counter. "Good morning."
She jumped in surprise, turning back to look at him before smiling. "Good morning."
He chuckled. "Morning."
She squinted at him before coming over. "Did you sleep alright?"
He offered his hand. "I did. Did you?"
She took it and kissed the back of it. "Of course."
He nodded. "Good."
"I'm really happy to see you," she said after a moment, looking up at him.
He smiled slightly. "We live together, you know."
She rolled her eyes, stepping closer to him and draping her arms over his neck. "I'm aware."
"You can see me whenever."
"Yes. I know. But it's lovely to see you when I do."
He smiled. "It's lovely to see you too."
She dimpled, standing on her toes to kiss him.
