She studied him intently, her eyes tracing over his mouth for a moment, before she kissed him, her hand sneaking up to run through his hair.
He would hear her quiet voice as she spoke with someone at the door. There was a silence, and after a few minutes, her voice came through to him. He would know that she was scared judging by how she spoke. Her voice was overly strong, sounding as if she was trying to keep from shaking. "Francis?"
