Poppy was dozing by his side a while later, her lips slightly parted as her head rested just under his collarbones, her fingers curling into his crisp shirt.
They got up to the observatory, climbing the familiar metal stairs before opening the door with a dull whine. The room was just as they remembered, clear glass revealing glittering stars and clouds underneath them. Poppy's breath caught in her throat and she fell silent.
She led him forward, sitting down in the center of the room and tipping her head back to look up, her breath making clouds in the cold room.
She wrapped the blanket over his shoulder and nestled besides him, wrapping her arms around his waist.
