He gave her a look. "I don't recall saying anything of the sort. In fact, I suggested that gaining people like you on our side would make us stronger."
She gave him a similar look. “Look, Mr. Craw, just because I’m a newer leader doesn’t mean that I’m less strong than your other negotiators. There has to be something you can offer.”
"I don't doubt your abilities in leadership," he said smoothly. He took out a manilla folder, sliding it to her. "Here is our list of resources."
She pursed her lips before considering him again, folding her hands. “What exactly would you need from us?”
