She flushed slightly, taking his hand with a nod of thanks.
It looked like a regular fancy restaurant. Italian.
“This... you got a reservation here?”
"It doesn't need a reservation. It's not a busy night. Plus I asked."
“Wow. You’re amazing,” she said, looking up at him and kissing just under his jaw.
He took her hand with a smile. "Shall we?"
“Yes. Let’s go.”
He nodded, heading for the place.
She followed, squeezing his hand.
They entered and he asked for a table for two. It didn't take long for them to get seated.
She looked up at him adoringly. “I love you.”
He smiled at her. "I love you too."
She reached up and kissed him, her hand on his jaw.
He smiled gently against her lips, his thumb brushing her jaw.
“You’re so sweet...”
He pulled away, taking a seat. "I love you."
She sat next to him. “I love you too.”
He opened his menu, relaxing as the waiter came by and asked for their drinks.
She glanced at him expectantly. “What are you drinking?”
He hesitated. "I'll just have water."
