She squinted at him before shaking her head. "I'm not Diana, Craw," she said, sounding really tired. "I'm not going to eat the broccoli because you tell me to. I'm your wife and your peer, and I have a right to make this decision myself."
"That's fine. You can disagree with it. This is my choice, though. I'm not taking that medication ever again."
As they checked out, Poppy waited by the door, looking slightly nervous. The nurse glanced over at her before looking at Francis. "Do you want those meds?" she asked, offering a bottle to him.
"This is her prescription," she said, leaning down to scribble something out on the clipboard. "You can't get it without her after you leave."
She glanced up at him before passing him the bottle. "There you go. Give her two pills, dissolve them in water, and she'll be out before she finishes the glass."
