She was still in a deep sleep, her face turned into the pillow. It didn't seem like she would be waking any time soon.
It took several hours, and Poppy woke eventually, stiffening as her gaze darted around the room, twitching with nerves.
She watched him for a moment, something building up in her eyes. She stood up, and a halting breath seized her chest. She took a deep breath, trying to breathe, and pulled out her suitcase, opening it and putting her belongings in.
She glanced over her shoulder at him, and the pure rage that was in her eyes was startling. She looked back down at her suitcase and realized her hands were shaking so badly she could barely keep them in place.
He faltered, watching her carefully. "Should I stay here..? They told that's what I should do, with the water.."
“I told you ‘no’,” she said, her voice rough with fury. “I told you ‘no’. I told you I didn’t want it, and you *squee!*ing drugged me.”
"That's what they said I should do! It didn't feel right, and I knew I messed up so I threw them away!"
