She pursed her lips, studying him as she took his coat. She reached out instinctively to brush some raindrops off of his head, her fingers moved gently through his hair before she blinked, pulling her hand back suddenly, shaking her head. "Ah... sorry," she said, turning to hang up his coat.
She seemed embarrassed, shaking her head as if scolding herself. "C'mon. I have some coffee in the kitchen."
She poured him some from the coffee pot, fixing it slowly, her brow furrowed. "So, why was it a bad day?"
She frowned, glancing over her shoulder at him before bringing the coffee to him, setting it in front of him. "Tell me about it."
She exhaled slowly, looking down at the table. "It's... it's so weird not to have you be a constant right now."
