She closed her eyes again, burying her face in his neck.
He quieted, watching the movie.
She exhaled slowly, falling back asleep.
He yawned, saying nothing.
If he looked around, he would see that Diana and James were also asleep.
He sighed, resting his head back.
Poppy shifted awake, murmuring slightly. She looked around blearily before sitting up.
Francis had drifted off, his head back.
She kissed his cheek before standing up, picking up the babies.
He shifted, not waking.
She went upstairs to put them to bed.
He murmured, yawning.
Poppy set down James and came back down the stairs.
He was still asleep, his head back.
She brushed her fingers through his hair before sitting next to him.
His eyes fluttered and he looked over. "Hey.."
She looked up at him in surprise. "Hey. I put the kids to bed."
"That's good," he replied, an arm around her.
She slipped into his lap, cupping his jaw in her hands.
He tilted his head, pulling her close.
