She laughed slightly, scooting over to him and kissing his jaw, her free hand cupping the other side. "Goofus."
His eyes twinkled. "Did it? How about this?" He cleared his throat and pulled a frown. "This is silly. There's no point for such interactions."
He crossed his arms. "I don't know what you're talking about. I always act like this. And to presume that it's cold is just impolite."
Her laughter shook her shoulders, and she tried to coax his arms open. "I think this is all for show."
She grinned at him, her thumb brushing his cheekbone. "The guys. They all promise that they're different only for one person, and then they turn out to be lying." She raised an eyebrow, considering him playfully. "How do I know you won't be like them?"
