She pulled on some gloves and gestured to a small bottle with white cream in it. Next to it was something almost like leather, stretched taut on a frame. It had a cut along the center and she tapped the material. "This is a skin sample. Look at what this new cream does."
She took a swap and brushed it over the cut. The ointment fizzed before slowly repairing across the wound. Poppy wiped it with a clean tissue and the cut had faded to a scar. "Advanced repairing," she said happily. "To be used on the field. Pretty cool, huh?"
She beamed, clearly pleased as she lowered her goggles back on her eyes, taking out a sample of the cream. "I haven't tested it on live specimens yet, but it's cool, I think."
She looked up at him in surprise, blinking. "Oh. Thank you, but I'm really not. This took me a while... do you want to eat?"
She closed the door behind them, shrugging out of her lab coat. "Make yourself at home," she said, sitting in her chair with a sigh.
She glanced at the door for a moment before standing up, resting her hands on the desk. "You are so cute."
