She kissed him lightly, her fingers in his hair.

"God. Can you believe it?"

 

She smiled, leaning her head against his chest.

"We'll have to wait and see."

“This might be a little cold,” the doctor commented, placing the reader on Poppy’s stomach. “But you already know that, don’t you?”

A small image appeared on the screen and the doctor paused before pausing the image.

“There. There’s your baby.”

 

“I can figure it out. Do you guys want to know?”

 

"I already know," she said smugly. "So go ahead."

 

She shifted the wand around for a moment before nodding.

"There we go. It's a girl!"

 

Poppy laughed breathily.

"I was making that up. Holy crap. We're having another girl."
