She paused, tapping a few buttons on the screen before the movie started. She leaned back in the pillows, listening quietly.
He tilted his head slightly before pausing the movie and setting the phone on the bedside table, shutting off the light.
Poppy came out of the loading dock, her red hair bright and curly as she looked around for him, one brow raised expectantly.
He was standing patiently, one hand in his black coat and the other holding flowers. He hadn't seen her yet.
Her heart lifted when she saw him and she moved through the crowd as quickly as she could, moving towards him.
A wide grin crossed her face and she ran to him, throwing her arms around his neck and kissing him, standing on her tiptoes.
She pulled away from him slightly after a minute, pausing before looking up at him with a smile. "Hi."
He frowned, holding them out slightly. It was not too big, but a good size. The flowers were mostly red or orange. "I wanted to.."
She paused before a large grin crossed her lips and she kissed him again, taking the flowers. "They're beautiful, Craw!"
