“Want to see?”
"Yeah. That would be cool."
She held out her hand and focused on it. Slowly, vines began to grow out of her hands.
He tilted his head. "Huh."
“What about you? Do you have magic?”
"No, not me."
“That’s sad.”
"I don't think it's that sad."
"Do humans know how to do it?"
"Some humans. Not all of us."
"That's so weird."
"Not to me."
"I guess so. I mean, we have varying magic levels, I suppose, so that's not too different."
"True.."
“What’s your life?” she asked after a moment.
"My life?"
“Yeah. What do you do?”
"I kill people," he replied slowly. "Bad people, I guess."
“Doesn’t that make you a bad person?”
