(should we send them on another mission?) "Oh, it won't be that bad," Poppy said. She stood up and tried to stand near him in a way that didn't look like she was expecting him to fall, but if he did, he wouldn't completely embarrass himself.
(I'm not sure. I suppose that would work?) Francis stood up, but his legs faltered for a moment as a pain shot through his back. He caught himself, and continued, waving off any help. (I was looking back, and found the idea for a timer until you meet your soulmate and such a story formed in my head. I'm just too lazy to write it haha.)

We could also have Francis be more injured than we thought, or we could have just ordinary government life, or we could have a war blow out because of the whole ambassador thing, or we could have crime solving, or whatever.) Poppy stood nearby. "Here, let me get out first. I'm not saying you'll fall, but if you do fall, you don't want to eat helicopter pad."
(My lips are sealed! But, when you think of a story or a certain object, do you have a feeling or thought that you relate to it? That's totally happening to me right now, when I think about that. It's really weird. Like, rosy sunlight through a window that has cacti growing on the planters. Also, I suppose we could go with the first idea, but I don't know how he'd be injured.) He shook his head, then stepped out with a trembling foot. "I'm alright, but thanks for the offer."
(Sometimes I do! Mostly with characters, though. When I thought up Pirates, the first thing I had an image of was Natalia. It's easier for me to think about people rather than things. As for Francis being more injured than we thought it was, he could just have a problem with his heart or something because of the electricity or something. OooHHH! What if the war broke out while he was in the hospital, and they had to flee?) Poppy muttered under her breath something about stubborn agents, and turned to see a crew waiting for them with a wheelchair. She turned back to him with a grin. "I think that's for you," she said.
(Yes! That's a great idea!! Whenever I think of a character, it always has a certain atmosphere with it. I like to try to imagine other people's characters as well. I don't really know why it happens.) He frowned, and ignored the wheelchair. "I can walk perfectly fine, thank you very much."
(Aww yiss. It's probably connected to the fact that you're an artist. One of the things that I've noticed about your work is you are really good at conveying small bits of character with their positions, expressions and items. Visualizing their 'atmosphere' probably gives you some insight into their personality.) "Francis," Poppy said quietly. "They're going to make you sit down either way. I think it's just best to get it over with. I'll look away if that makes you feel better."
(That might be it. I mean, when I think of Natalia I imagined vellichor. Dusty books in a library with sunlight beaming through, and the dust drifting in the rays. The color maroon, and the smell of pages. It's odd.) He scoffed. "Look away? Are you twelve? If I do it, will you be silent?" He seemed more annoyed than usual, and a bit angry. Before sitting, he brushed off his shirt. Once we was down, he folded his hands and crossed his legs.
(She reads and writes a lot. It's how she found the legend of Fawelore in the first place. She was very studious before she left school. It's always really interesting to me to see how my characters appear to others, though. I always have a very clear archetype in my head when making someone. It's kind of their guide if that makes sense. For instance, Natalia is pretty emotionally broken, so she seeks out knowledge. Jack has a huge capacity for empathy, and he worries a lot about other people. Jade is fairly innocent despite her looks, and quite childlike and Ellia is really motherly, and actually a leader, but people don't really recognize it. Like, for Avice, I've always really loved how she seems to be fundamentally optimistic. It just seems to be a central part of her character, and it seems to be an impulse in all her actions. It's really interesting to me.) Poppy was slightly hurt, but she didn't let it get to her too much. She remained silent like he asked, but raised an eyebrow at him, as if challenging him to back down (Also, does this look anything like Francis to you?) Spoiler: Luke Evans? .
(I could really go on and on about how I feel when I think of certain characters. It's actually really fun for me.I honestly can't wait to get back to Pirates haha. I'm a bit impatient. As for the picture, I could see Francis being played by him, but it's not what I think he looks like originally (The jawline is pretty spot on, though c: ) Due to the fact that I can't find the right actor, I like to tell myself Francis' beauty cannot be portrayed by any mortal. That is my excuse.) He stared at her, a careless expression on his face. He blinked slowly. "Let's go. I don't have all day."
(Pirates has been by far the most fulfilling RP I've ever participated in. Proxy, Starlight and you have been awesome to work with, and I get really excited when I think about it. It's tough to do a roleplay with three dedicated RPers though, especially with all different response times and different time zones. I think after this next time skip, we're just going to go full steam ahead and not wait for anyone. The next part won't require people specifically, so we won't have any plot devices that we need to discuss. It will be cool, I think. We just need to get past this part. ) The medics pushed him forward, and Poppy followed a little ways behind them. She looked back at the helicopter and noticed that the woman was surrounded by people questioning her, and Poppy hurried away, not wanting to be noticed. "Sir, can you tell us exactly what hit you?" one of the doctors asked as they hurried him down the hallway, a young man with curly brown hair and tan skin and a worried brow. Someone else flashed a light in his eyes to check his pupils, and another one poked his chest and then scribbled something on a clipboard.
(It's the same for me. I think it's the only RP I've stuck to and really liked. I'm super excited to see where it goes.) Francis didn't shoo the people away this time, in fact, he seemed very polite. "Well, a shot of electricity. Not sure how much, though." (Also I might be overthinking something, but I can't be sure so I musn't say anything.)
(now you gotta say it) They continued peppering him with questions as they moved down the hallway. They turned the corner quickly and kept walking, never missing a step. Poppy hesitated at the doors that separated the waiting room and the ward. "It's really only meant for family and friends," she thought uneasily and turned to go sit down and wait in the ward, feeling out of place.
(No I can't but i̶t̶ ̶h̶a̶s̶ ̶s̶o̶m̶e̶t̶h̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶d̶o̶ ̶w̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶d̶o̶c̶t̶o̶r̶) Francis grabbed onto the door and held it open, stopping them. "Hold it. She's a medic as well, so you should bring her in as she may have some use," he sighed, then crossed his arms.
( ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Who knows?) Poppy looked up, surprised. Her head was cocked in confusion, and she stared at Francis for a moment, trying to discern his motives before the doctor cleared his throat. "Alright," he said. "Come on, then." Poppy stood up quietly and walked over quickly to join them, and they took off once again.
(Pssh not me that's for sure) Francis leaned back, resuming his answers to questions. "How long do I have to stay here?"
"We might keep you here overnight," the doctor said, flipping through his notes thoughtfully. "You know, just to make sure everything's working properly. You've had quite an ordeal."
"Overnight? I don't think I need that." Francis shook his head. Suddenly, the woman from earlier entered, a her hand covered a phone. Somehow, she managed to get to them and lose the people asking questions. "Hm. Excuse me, but the director wants to talk to one of you. He has a few questions."
The woman nodded, brushing back a lock of brown hair. "He just want's to get a few details. Nothing bad, so I'm sure you'll be fine." She smiled reassuringly. "Do you want to take it?"
