(Will you be in the voice channel tonight?) "And what about the other 1%?" He tilted his head. "What then?"
(I can be.) "Oh, that part is just a fluke," she said, waving her hand idly. "It's generally a mistake."
(Last night so many things happened and I didn't even get to hear any of it. Not even the crying. ) "So you admit to mistakes? I was starting to think you had no faults." He chuckled.
(I'm an ugly crier. You didn't miss much. I'll go get on now, though!) She raised an eyebrow at him. "After everything that happened today, you really want to say that I have no faults?"
(I'm not home yet, but I will be soon! I'll tell you when I get on, is that okay?) He shrugged. "I'd believe it."
(That's chill!) She watched him for a moment before shrugging it off with a self-conscious laugh. "You're quite the flirt today, Craw."
"Mm," she said, her eyes crinkling with amusement. The waiter came by with her tea, and she thanked him quietly, closing her hand around the tea for warmth. "But in all seriousness," she said. "Do you think there's anything we need to change before we go to the meeting tomorrow?"
"Like, how we present the alliance," she said, waving a hand in the air vaguely. "She's more logic driven, right? So do we need to change how we talk to her about the mission?"
"Oh, I see." He put this thumb over his mouth in thought. "I assume we'll have to be a bit more straight-foward, but what we usually should mostly be fine. What do you think?"
"I agree," she said, nodding as the waiters began to clear the plates. She gave him a slightly sheepish grin. "I just wanted to make sure that there wasn't something that I was missing."
(Whenever she trusts him it all goes to hell) "Alright. Good. It'll be fine. We've done this before."
(huehuehue) She squeezed his hand and stood up, pushing her chair in. "It will all be fine," she said quietly.
(I can join the voice channel now!) "So what now? Do you want just back to the room and hang out, or do you have something else in mind?"
