"I have to it by myself, I'm sorry. But we'll meet up afterwards. Does that work? I shouldn't take very long." He looked a bit regretful, as he didn't want to have to leave her alone while he went.
She seemed confused, and cocked her head, quiet for a moment. "Okay," she said eventually. "I'll see you soon, then, I guess."
"I love you too," she replied, waving to him slightly. When he left, she paused, thinking for a moment, before turning and plunging in the market, looking for some plants.
A while later, Francis was searching through the market. He hadn't completely thought out the plan of how they would meet back up, but he assumed he would find her somewhere among the people, and so he looked.
A flash of red brown hair would catch his eye as Poppy leaned down to inspect a potted succulent. She frowned and scratched the leaf lightly, her head cocked with thought.
She jumped when he touched her, but she looked up and grinned at him. "Hi," she said, standing up and kissing his cheek. "How were your errands?"
"I've just been looking around a little bit," she said, nodding. "I didn't read up on this place very well."
"Yeah, me neither. I wonder if there's anything fun to do besides go to the market. Like, nice places to see, you know?" He crossed his arms, looking around at the surrounding area.
